Nephrite Jade, a semi-precious gemstone known for its rich green to dark green hues, is sourced from New Zealand. Esteemed for its grounding properties, nephrite is believed to promote harmony, balance, and emotional stability, often associated with protection and healing. This smooth, dense stone has a waxy luster and can also exhibit lighter streaks or variations in color, enhancing its unique beauty. Nephrite has been valued for thousands of years, especially in Chinese culture, where it is considered a symbol of purity and moral integrity. It ranks between 6 and 6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it relatively strong and suitable for various forms of jewelry and carvings, while still requiring care to preserve its natural beauty.
