Collected: 25 Years Written in Stone

Collected: 25 Years Written in Stone

Some things can only be collected over time. Stones unearthed. Places explored. Connections forged. Wisdom gathered. Designs refined. Moments remembered.

Twenty-five years. One brand, thoughtfully collected.

Thousands of gemstones have passed through the hands of our Founder, Kerry Beard. Each one carrying its own story. A place remembered. A journey taken. A conversation shared.

From Jaipur to Lightning Ridge, NSW, gemstone mines to master craftspeople, every stone, place and person left its own imprint.

Collected over twenty-five years. Layer by layer.

COLLECTED STONES

The beauty of the stone was just the beginning.

Some collections begin long before we realise what they're becoming.

After completing her Diploma in Gemmology, Kerry relocated to Jaipur in 1999 to source gemstones alongside local gem cutters.

Among the many gemstones she discovered, one quietly stayed with her.

Long before she understood its symbolism of intuition, transformation and protection, Labradorite became the stone she intuitively reached for every day.

“Wearing it felt like a protective amulet supporting me through the journey of my life."

The first of many.

Labradorite still surrounds Kerry at home and in the studio, a constant reminder to embrace change and trust the journey ahead.

Over the years, new places introduced new favourites.

Australian Opal from Lightning Ridge revealed colours unlike anywhere else in the world.

Peridot radiated the warmth and vibrant energy of Rajasthan.

Tourmaline offered an endless spectrum of possibility.

Garnet carried a quiet fire, rich with passion and vitality.

Smokey Quartz became a grounding presence.

Australian Sapphire reflected the depth of home.

Some would later find their place in
Chronos, a deeply personal collection created from the rare and unique gemstones Kerry gathered across a lifetime.

2004: Kerry in Namibia - sourcing Aquamarine directly from the mines

Each stone carrying its own history.

Each piece, a quiet witness to the passage of time.

Each part of the collection.

Gathered over decades.

Across continents.

One stone at a time.

COLLECTED RELATIONSHIPS

The most meaningful things couldn't be sourced.

2004: Jose and Kerry in Namibia - World’s largest quartz crystal cluster on display

The very first was José, Kerry’s late husband.

A shared love of gemstones, travel and craftsmanship became the foundation of Kerry Rocks. Together they travelled to the source, visiting mines and gemstone producing regions, sought out remarkable stones and built relationships with artisans and local communities whose skills had been passed down through generations.

2015: Jose and Kerry in South Africa

2015: Jose in Sydney - crafting in home jewellery workshop

Some of those relationships continue today.

For more than twenty years, Kerry has worked alongside the same production team, creating jewellery built on trust, shared craftsmanship and an unwavering commitment to quality.

Over time, those relationships grew beyond the workshop.

Into lifelong customers who have become part of the Kerry Rocks journey. Women who have returned to celebrate engagements, anniversaries, birthdays and life's defining moments. Mothers introducing daughters. Some have worn Kerry Rocks for decades. Others are discovering the brand for the very first time.

Every woman adds another layer to the story.

COLLECTED DESIGNS

2001: Kerry Rocks Archive - original branded packaging with earliest jewellery designs from first Paddington Market stall

Written in Stone.

Every Kerry Rocks design begins with a gemstone.

Its colour. Its character. Its natural form.

Rather than asking the stone to fit the design, Kerry has always allowed the design to emerge from the stone itself. For twenty-five years, that philosophy has revealed itself in every collection. Not through repetition. Through refinement.

Sketch by sketch. Stone by stone. Collection by collection.

An instinct to let the stone lead. A reverence for its nature. A devotion to craftsmanship.

Some became signatures.

The Gigi Ring.

The Kara Ring.

They endure. Not because they belong to a moment. Because they never did.

The Gigi Ring

A defining Kerry Rocks signature, the Gigi Ring celebrates the individuality of every gemstone through its sculptural six-prong setting. First created in 2004, it remains a vital part of the 2026 collection.

The Kara Ring

A classic solitaire with a reimagined edge, the Kara Ring was first created in 2009 and remains an enduring design in our 2026 collection.

COLLECTED WISDOM

All that endures.

Some journeys change your direction. Others simply reaffirm what always mattered.

A love of extraordinary stones.

Ethically sourced. Crafted by the same trusted hands. Created without compromise.

Designed to be worn, loved and handed on. Staying close to the people who make every piece possible. And the people who wear them.

These remain the foundations of Kerry Rocks.

STILL COLLECTING

Twenty-five years of designing naturally powerful gemstone jewellery has deepened Kerry's connection with the stones.

Today, she sees more than the stones’ beauty. She recognises its energy, the landscapes it came from, the hands it passed through and the person whose story it will one day become part of.

Every inclusion, every colour and every crystal is an echo of the journey it has taken and the potential it still holds.

Each stone, a keeper of stories, moments and connections that continue to grow in meaning over time.

Another chapter waiting to unfold.

Twenty-five years collected.

Still collecting.
