This exquisite necklace is a one-of-a-kind piece, created with a hand-picked Australian Black Crystal Opal, found only in Lightning Ridge, NSW, Australia and crafted with pure 9kt yellow gold. The Round Necklace features a stunning, iridescent Black Crystal Opal in a five-prong claw pendant suspended from our signature cable chain. This elegant and beautiful necklace is the perfect gift for someone special and will be treasured for years to come.

Revered as one of the most valuable forms of Opal, Black Opal is sourced exclusively from Lightning Ridge, New South Wales, Australia. Solid Black Opal is characterised by a dark body tone with internal flashes of light. Semi-Solid Opal displays a slightly lighter body with a rich spectrum of hues, while Crystal Opal reveals a more translucent body with luminous flashes across the colour range.

Lightning Ridge Black Opals rank 6.5-7 on the Mohs hardness scale and is a birthstone for October.
