Chronos, a Greek word meaning time. Stones gathered over a lifetime of travel by founder/gemmologist Kerry Beard, serve as a silent witness to the passage of time. Featuring premium quality faceted Lapis Lazuli beads, hand knotted with sturdy nylon thread for the ultimate drape, finished with a handcrafted solid 9kt yellow gold bolt clasp fastening with extension. 

The stone of inner knowing. Rich in deep, blue hue, Lapis Lazuli is believed to stimulate the desire for knowledge, truth and understanding whilst igniting ones eternal desire for learning. A precious and deeply sought after gemstone, the opaque member of the sodalite group is revered for its hypnotic deep blue tones and tri-coloured flecks of white, black and gold. Unlike most gems, Lapis Lazuli is a combination of three minerals - Lazurite, calcite and pyrite. Lapiz Lazuli ranks 5/6 on the Mohs hardness scale.
