Grossular Garnet is a rare, green shaded variety of Garnet, it is a semi-precious translucent gemstone, generally coveted for its blood-red colouring and radiant shine. This vibrant gemstone represents fire and light assuring the wearer of love and faithfulness. Garnet ranks 6.5/7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale and is the birthstone for January.
