The Vega Ring features a stunning South Australian White Opal, with slight grey body tone body with red to green iridescence. Encased in a thick, classic bezel setting with a matte, textured finish.

South Australian White Opal is recognisable for its milky opaque appearance and fiery iridescent flashes, while South Australian Crystal Opal displays a more translucent body with an amplified vivid blue fire.

A precious mineral belonging to the Silica family, Opal is formed when fluids containing silica fall into cracks in rocks. Opal ranks 6–6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale and is a birthstone for October.
