Dubbed the Sunset Stone, the brightly coloured Carnelian gemstone is recognisable for its fiery autumnal hues in shades of burnt orange and pale pink. Carnelian is a semi-precious translucent gemstone that stimulates creativity and restores vitality and motivation. Carnelian ranks 6/6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale.
