Tourmalinated Quartz is a variety of Crystal Quartz which contains naturally occurring, long thin strands of Black Tourmaline. This semi-precious transparent gemstone is highly sought after for these needle-like inclusions. An effective grounding stone, the Tourmalinated Quartz encourages balance and harmony and inspires healing and protection for those who wear it. Tourmalinated Quartz ranks 7 on the Mohs hardness scale.
